Privacy
Gymkhana runs this website and is responsible for your data on it. This page says what the site shares for our ads, and how to change your choice.
When it runs
We use a pixel from Meta, which runs Facebook and Instagram, to see whether our ads there bring people to this site. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland it runs only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or don't choose, nothing loads. Everywhere else it runs unless your browser has Global Privacy Control turned on. Your choice is kept in your browser.
What's sent
When it runs, the pixel sets cookies and sends:
- the pages you open
- when you send us a message, call or email us, start a checkout or pay, and how much you paid
- your IP address, and which browser and device you use
If you pay, our server also sends the purchase: the amount, the email address, phone number and country you gave at checkout, your IP address and browser, and the pixel's cookies. Your email, phone and country are hashed (turned into a code) first, and used to match the purchase to a Facebook or Instagram account, if you have one.
We use this to measure our ads and show them to people likely to want what we offer. It goes to Meta Platforms Ireland, which may send it to the United States and also uses it under its own privacy policy, including to choose the ads it shows you.
Change your choice
In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, use Cookies at the bottom of any page to accept or reject again. Elsewhere, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. If you say no after saying yes, the pixel stops. Its cookies stay in your browser for 90 days unless you clear them.
Your rights
In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland we only do this with your consent. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, call us on 07455 702883. For what Meta holds, see Meta's privacy policy. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection regulator where you live (in the UK, the ICO).
